I don't see why everyone is so upset to be back at school. I, for one, am extremely glad to be around everyone again. But maybe it's different for me because I've been around muggles most of the summer. Either way, it's good to be back. My classes seem to be shaping up nicely, and I certainly hope they stay that way. N.E.W.T.s here I come!

I think Dad has been a bit worried about me lately. I can't blame him really, after all, he has no idea what is going on in the wizarding world. All he sees is the statistics- and those show that people are dying. I think Aunt Ellie has at least talked him into letting me go back to school, so that's a good thing. I think she's going to take me shopping for my supplies... after all, school is coming up sooner than I anticipated. I'm still excited though! N.E.W.T.S. are just around the corner!
